The Artwork
Winter of the soul is where the work begins and ends; where she finds her roots in the sacred and spiritual recognition of the goddess. The artwork offers an invitation to dive into the conscious and subconscious as the layers of the self undergo four distinct phases. Mirroring nature, and her cycles of rebirth and with every iteration and symbol a new facet and element is revealed. A timeless display of the journey that every woman is privileged to undergo with the hope that what once was will make room for what shall become. Representations of thoughts and actions lend themselves in the sword; while the wands recognises a passionate higher-self. Ascending from the ordinary to embrace the higher self that was always ever present and within.

Artist Nour Tohmé
Nour Tohmé is a Lebanese illustrator, multi-disciplinary artist, and experience designer. She is the creator of Draw Me a Song, an award-winning art project exploring the fusion between music, pop culture, visual arts, and feminine empowerment. Her work focuses on using art and creativity as tools for social change, and exploring the connections between art and holistic activism.
